What does it mean to you? The idea of having a virtual girlfriend might seem like an exciting one, but the consequences could be pretty disastrous. Luckily for everyone, this game was made by three guys who probably aren't so crazy about virtual relationships after all. It's meant to reach out to people who enjoy the company of others online, and does so at least until they face what often happens when people meet up in person. The game's tone heavily suggests that it's meant to be taken lightly, but if you're playing with friends take note of its message. I started out at the beginning of the game by choosing one of four characters, each representing one of four common kinds of online gamers. There are otakus, who are likely to enjoy anime related games. Harajuku Girls are people who enjoy cosplaying others online, wannabe rock stars are interested in video games that feature music in some way, and lastly there are social butterflies who enjoy interacting with lots of people in a variety of ways. Ultimately it doesn't matter which you choose since they all end up meeting in virtual reality regardless. Then they all go to the city center where they'll hang out until one of them gets kidnapped. This is more than enough reason to start bonding. The game starts out rather innocently, with the group enjoying their vacation at the theme park before it begins. They pass by a cafe that looks like it was taken straight from an anime, and then after getting lost on the way there they find themselves playing hide and seek at a stadium surrounded by teens who seem more interested in having fun without adult supervision than anything else. The game is filled with various references to popular culture; it's also full of references to real life events, which make sense once you recognize them. For example, the most popular game in the world right now is called ""Pokémon Go", and near the end of the game there's a scene that might as well be taken from it. The characters eventually start to get more and more suspicious of each other, and it turns out they're all involved in some kind of kidnapping plot. At first it seems like they might just be sleeping together, but then everyone decides to start playing a different kind of game. As you can guess, everyone ends up getting kidnapped except for the heroine who wants to know what's going on. The gameplay itself isn't very complex. It's more of a visual novel, and the key focus is on reading and reacting to what characters say. There aren't very many choices to make and any dialogue that you can't avoid isn't really that important. You don't actually decide who gets kidnapped, which you might assume makes it feel meaningless, but after playing multiple times learning about the other characters has become more important. By the end of the game I was paying attention to their individual preferences and thoughts, which is undoubtedly what this whole thing was supposed to be about. cfa1e77820
